SUFC Players and Staff Charity Leg Waxing

The Trust committee has teamed up with member Suze Newton from Serenity7 Nails and Beauty to raise funds for a special cause.

Southend United Players and staff have agreed to take part in a Charity waxing. A number of candidates will be offered and supporters will vote for the person they would most like to be subjected to the waxing.

The idea is that Supporters will pledge their donation for the individual they like most or least according to their preference!

The individual receiving the largest amount in donations will be selected for the waxing… as not to feel left out others may take part!

Suze Newton, who is a long standing SUFC supporter as well as a fully qualified beautician proficient in all kinds of waxing, has offered to perform a wax, and for it to be filmed for Blues Player or any other medium as preferred by the Club

The original idea was that 50% of the money raised would go the charities of the candidates choosing and 50% to Trust funds. However the idea has captured the imagination of Southend United staff as has a local cause and as such all funds will now be going to Tracy Ralph the lady from Hawkwell who suffered with pneumonia over the Christmas period and lost both her legs.
Tracy's story in the Southend Echo can be found by clicking here.
The following Southend United players/staff have agreed to take part:

  • Ian Pettit
  • Luke Prosser
  • John White
